July (19 Months)

Photos from July!

Colorado Renaissance Festival! Kiana's first Llama ride.

We got a new cabinet for the entryway, specifically for all of our shoes. Kiana was having fun using it as a new hiding place.

Fourth of July at the Air Force Academy Football Stadium.

Kiana has started demanding that when I get home I take my shoes off and let her walk around in them. Her wearing my heals makes me nervous, but she does pretty good in them. It's a good thing though she can fit her whole foot in the toe part before the high arches begin.

Trip to the Denver Children's Museum!

Grant wants to turn our basement into a tree house like at the Museum. Not quite sure how!

The museum was all about playing dress up and role playing. Here's Kiana as a firefighter.

Our little artist!

Future veterinarian!

She loved the shopping area! She must be paying attention she knew just what to do without too much direction!

June (18 Months)

Photos from June!

Kiana and I went to a small carnival put on by the local MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers). Kiana loves bounce houses and ran to it first when she saw it.

She spent a lot of time playing with the ducks in the pool. Kiana didn't care about the prizes she just wanted to play with the ducks.

Kiana got to get her face painted again. He was so surprised at how good she was doing. She did such a good job, she got a matching flower on her other cheek as well.

Kiana got to go to the Circus for the first time. She wasn't as excited when we saw Disney of Ice, but I think there was so much going on at one time it was hard to know what to watch.

For Father's Day Kiana made her daddy a bowl. I let her paint the inside of a ceramic bowl while she put her hand print on the top.

Watching daddy play softball.

May Photos (17 Months)

Here are some photos from the month of May!

We went to Canon's annual Blossom Festival Parade. Kiana got her face painted for the first time. At first I wasn't sure if she would sit still long enough, but all we had to do was to tell her we were putting makeup on her and she was fine. A new favorite morning routine thanks to her Grandma Mary. It was a really hot day, and Kiana wasn't too thrilled with the really long parade so she decided to nap through most of it.

Happy Mother's Day. Kiana got me some beautiful flowers, thanks Kiana!

We went to the zoo for the day. Kiana loved walking with the animals as they walked back and forth.

My little daredevil didn't think twice about going down the tube side for the first time by herself head first!

She had so much fun she probably did it 20 or more times.

Here she is going up the stairs all by herself.

Kiana's favorite new hiding place is behind the couch. Since there pulled out at an angle she loves to wedge herself between the couch and wall.
